Fireworks
Okay, it was my first time shooting fireworks. I really wasn't planning to go watch this display but I wanted to experience shooting fireworks, but thinking about the huge number of people attending this event makes me want to stay home. Then my mother remembered this favorite resto of ours which is directly in front of the venue of the fireworks display, so together with my Parents and Sister, we went there and enjoyed watching the display. (but we do have to eat at the resto so that they will allow us to watch the display on their place, our dinner there was unforgettable too!)
There are no boast-worthy shots but I like to share it with you anyways. We are about a kilometer or two away from the display, so I used my zoom lens. I shot in RAW mode, ISO 100, F6 and i was in BULB mode to control the timing on how many fireworks should appear in my photos. I tweaked the vibrance and exposure a little during the post processing.
BTW, the conical shaped thingy you see in the bottom part of the photos is said to be the tallest Christmas tree in the Philippines.
